LAN |
Local Area Network. Used to connect computers over a short distance such as computers within the same company or office. |
| Server |
A computer that delivers information and software to other computers linked by a network. |
| VoIP |
Voice Over Internet Protocol. A means of carrying voice telephony over the internet. |
| VPN |
Virtual Private Network. A way to provide remote access to an organization's network via the Internet. VPNs send data over the public Internet through secure "tunnels." |

Wide Area Network. Ie. the internet. |
